Lorena Falasco Elementary LEAP fifth and sixth grade students won a competition for completing the most hours with FEV Tutoring! FEV is an online tutoring service that provides students with a 1-on-1 personalized, engaging instruction with a virtual tutor during scheduled sessions. - #LBUSD

National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day honors the death of 2,403 service members and civilians, as well as the thousands injured, during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. Remembering Pearl Harbor serves to remind us how the Greatest Generation saved us from tyranny and brought us peace through reconciliation. - #PearlHarbor

Special Education Day commemorates the signing of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) into law on this day in 1975. IDEA granted access to children with special needs to free and quality public education. Thank you to those who works towards empowering special children and their education. - #SpecialEducationDay

Rosa Parks Day is celebrated in the U.S. on December 1 to honor Rosa Parks, the brave civil rights activist.
